This unit is maintained so it can be set to stay on constantly or only come on when power fails.
This is a 8W unit, this requires very little power so incase of a power outage it would still continue to illuminate for a prolonged period of time.
These can be used to allow people to find an exit even if all the power is out, or just to make people aware of where the exits are incase of an emergency.
